Water Safety and Sanitation

Access to clean water and adequate sanitation is essential for public health and environmental sustainability. This track explores the challenges and innovations in ensuring water safety, managing wastewater, and preventing waterborne diseases. Key topics include water quality monitoring, sanitation infrastructure, hygiene education (WASH), and sustainable water resource management. With increasing threats from industrial pollutants, agricultural runoff, and climate-induced scarcity, the need for integrated water and sanitation strategies is more urgent than ever. This session will also examine global initiatives such as SDG 6 and highlight case studies showcasing community-driven water and hygiene solutions.
