Biography
Dr. Minigalieva graduated from The Urals State Pedagogical University (Department of Biology) in 2003. Since then she has been and still is working as a researcher in the Ekaterinburg Medical Research Center for Prophylaxis and Health Protection in Industrial Workers, Dept. of Toxicology and Biological Prophylaxis. Here she now holds the position of the Head of the Industrial Toxicology Lab. Dr. Minigalieva has got the Candidate of sciences degree in 2009 having defended a thesis on biological protection against adverse health effects of different combinations of organic and inorganic environmental pollutants based on animal experiments and human volunteers trials. Both before and after it, she participated in a lot of investigations aimed at development and an experimental assessment of protective efficacy of different substances attenuating harmful action of different industrial toxics as well as in experimental toxicological assessment of different chemical products. However, during last years the main field of her scientific interests comprises problematic of combined toxicity including that of metallic nanoparticles . She authored or co-authored about 70 scientific papers, included 25 in peer-reviewed international journals, and presented her work to many scientific meetings, both national and international.
