Biography
Prof. Asad Ullah Khan obtained his B. E Chemical Engineering degree from the NED University of Engineering & Technology, Karachi, Pakistan in the year 1986. He earned his Ph.D in Chemical Engineering from Imperial College, London in the year 1997. Later he was appointed as postdoctoral researcher at from Imperial College, University of London England during the years 1997-and the University of Surrey Guildford UK from 2000 to 2002. Prof. Khan has diverse professional experience to his credit and has worked in various process and manufacturing industries. On the basis of his academic qualification and experience he was offered a position of Assistant Professor in Chemical Engineering at COMSATS Institute of Information Technology Lahore in the year 2008. By virtue of his excellent academic and research contributions, he attained the position of Professor in the year 2011. In view of his competence, dedication and hard work, he was appointed as Head and Chairman, Department of Chemical Engineering in year 2010 and today he is working in this capacity. Prof. Khan has published more than fifty research papers in research journals, conferences and books of international repute. He holds membership of various professional bodies related to his field. Dr. Khan has substantially contributed for the uplift of educational standards and quality. He possesses versatility, vision and academic acumen which have marked him as a distinguished academician and successful administrator.
